Family=The greatest thing EVER!

My family is the greatest family in the entire world. I know y'all are thinking to yourself, "No way mine is way better." And that may be the case for each individual. But for me mind is absolutely the greatest. I love them so much. I don't know where I would be today if I didn't have them. Each and every one of them is an amazing example to me. They have always been there for me and always will be there no matter what.
This thanksgiving we deci
ded to do a family picture. It has been a couple years sense we have had one done. So we dressed up, picked our location, and shot a
way. And let me remind you, my family is no ordinary family. We don't do the cheesy, cute, smily typical family picture. We did what the Ahlbergs do! And these family pictures show exactly who we are and why I love my family so much. We are goof
y and fun! We aren't serious people, we just want to have fun and be ourselves! And that is exactly what we did.
I would like to pr

My baby girl Jude.

Around this time last year my momma and I went to Smiths in heber to go grocery shopping. As we were walking in there were two little kids holding two german shepherd puppies outside in the freezing cold. And us being the animal lovers that we are we have to stop and take pictures of them and pet them. And just out of curiosity we asked them how much they were selling them for. The older man said $5o each. Mom and I were just shocked. But of course when I said,"Mom we have to get these dogs!! PLEASE!!" She says, "No we can't take care of two puppies Rachel. And there is no way we can just get one and leave the other so no. Sorry." So we walk in the store and we are talkin about the puppies and we can't seem to forget about them. So mom calls dad and tells him about what we found. So she said go out and there and see if there still there. So I run to the door and yes! there still there. So I ask how long there going to be here and the guy said not to much longer. They were from vernal and had been driving back and forth so this was there last trip. So I run inside to tell mom and we talk about them more. After we are done shopping and pay for our food we walk outside and the puppies are still there. So of course we go back over and play with them a little bit more. Mom asked the man what he was going to do with these puppies if he didnt sell them today and he just shrugged his shoulders and looked away and mom look at me horrified and said," Ok how about you follow us to our house and we will show Dad and see if we can take them." So the man agrees and brings the puppies to our house. We take them inside and bring them to dad who was napping. They woke him up and he just fell in love with them. So we wrote the guy and check and sent him on his way. We had no idea what we were going to do with two 6 week old puppies when we already had two dogs. Mom and I kinda started to panic at that moment. But after a couple weeks we grew to love them more and more everyday. We named the dogs Lucy and Jude (after my favorite Beatles songs of course!) And your probably wondering what happened to Lucy? Well my mom had a client who was looking for a girl german shepherd puppy that she could name Lucy to give her husband for christmas so that she could be Linus'(thats there shepherd dog they already have) friend. Linus and Lucy, Get it?! So my mom immediately told her about Lucy that we had and agreed to give her to this lady. Of course we miss Lucy but Jude is our pride and joy!

So, today my baby girl Jude came to my apartment to visit me. She is the most beautiful puppy in the entire world! I love her so freakin much!! Everytime I go to Heber I have to go see her and get my kisses for the day. There is nothing I love more than going to see her and she gets so excited and wags her tail and whines until I get her out and play with her. Then she covers my face with lots and lots of kisses! I know that probably sounds gross but when its your baby girl it doesnt matter at all how much slober she covers you in. She is just the best puppy in the world! I don't know what it would be like if we hadn't found her! She is the love of my life and Im so glad to have her!

She is so Bad A$$ with her chains!
Sitting on the couch like she is a human. Look at the long tongue!
Just as adorable as ever!
Beautiful baby girl.
How can you not love that face??!!
Ha ha just like a child she didnt want me to kiss her!
I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!!

First Blog!

Alright, so I'm sitting in my room thinking to myself, "Rachel what are you gonna do with your life?!" I responded,"Good question." So I took out my little note book and started making a list of things I want to do before my life is over. Starting a blog happens to be one of them! So now I can check off one thing on my list! Now I just have to keep it going.
One of the things on my list is to go backpacking in a different country. Crazy right? I just want to get out of my shell and comfort zone and experience something new and exciting. I love being out in nature, and to be backpacking in a foreign place completely surrounded by the outdoors just sounds appealing to me! So hopefully one day soon I will be able to go. And that day might be coming sooner than later. My roommate Carly is going to Spain to study abroad for three months starting in January, and when she is done we both want to go backpacking there for a month. So I'm crossing my fingers it all works out! It will be a life changing experience and I don't want to pass it up!
Well this is kinda the wimpiest blog in the history of blogs, but I will get better as time goes on.
